Arrival at Delhi

Crazy crazy crazy…..things are unbelievable when you get into a city in India…

Today afternoon I was in Mumbai (Bombay), not much time to tour around but you could easily tell the city was dirty and poor when you were in a car driving along any road….I worked in the Grand Hyatt hotel…once you stepped out from the hotel gate…there were shelters (not houses!!) just covered by iron sheet and cracked wood….people live inside. No water, no electricity. Just garbage they picked from the area….and FLIES!!! When you think about the contrast between these and the luxury in hotel….you feel heart-breaking….

At evening I caught a flight from Mumbai to Delhi.

it’s so called the capital of the country…airport was old. Thousands of hotel pick-ups and taxi drivers just packed like Sadin fish at the waiting area…..the design of the airport was crazy. The exit just wide enough for 1 luggage cart to pass through!!! At the time I arrived there were 3 planes landed at the same time….so everyone just got their luggages and stuck at that stupid exit! You know Indians just never follow rules….they just chipped in the queue and dashed like a bull…..crazy

The best was in the airport parking…since we booked a hotel car…we just got in the car and got out from the airport area….AGAIN…great design of the roads and excellent management….1000s of car just needed to go on a small exit road and pass through the only gate at the same time!!! Before I thought China as the “best” drivers…now I change my mind and honor the award to the Inidans…they are just crazy!! They can just create any lane they want…go any direction they like to go…..switch on the high beam that is bright enough to harm your eyes….and I saw an old man got hit by a car but nobody helped out…..crazy crazy crazy….
